Story

Hi there, I have set up a crowdfunding page to help pay for my daughter's chest brace. She has what they call pigeon chest, which is a chest deformity where her chest bone protrudes and overlaps each other. The only way to fix this is either via surgery (which the NHS will only perform when it becomes severe) or with a chest brace, which the NHS won't fund. Unfortunately the chest brace that her doctor recommended is about £5000 and will need to be made specifically for her body, and will need to be checked every so often, costing us more money. Both my husband and I are trying to save as much as we can so we can fund her chest brace, but we would be eternally grateful to anyone who could help us. She has been through one major operation in her short life, a d we are trying to avoid another one. She is only 3 years old, but has already had to have her skull operated on because of sagittal craniosynostosis. Anything that you can donate would be amazing, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you both for taking the time to read this, and for also donating.

Thank you ever so much
Kirsty (Alexis mum)
