About Me

I am swimming 1 mile of the Great North Swim on 9th June 2019 so please support this wonderful cause. The swim will take place on Lake Windermere with lots of other crazy people. This will be my first open water competition!

While being a relatively confident swimmer, I have never swam in open water and it is something that has scared me in the past. Swimming in the sea was never fun either, but the opportunity to confront some of these fears head on and help raise money for this great cause seemed too good to miss.
