I've raised £2000 to make a difference for the children of Malawi. Every donation is greatly appreciated and will change lives for the better. Thank you.

In July 2018, a group of school children will be going to Malawi, Central Africa, to help fund projects which are focused on helping build schools and a library. They will also be working on projects which focus on schooling and community life in a local village. Projects such as ProjectMyBoy and ProjectMyGirl means that they can provide teaching and raise awareness for local school children about basic sexual health and hygiene. So many girls especially are struggling to finish their school life due to increased pressures of early pregnancies and marriage at age just 15.
In the Easter, a group of people will be undertaking a unique challenge named 'Walking in their shoes'. This will consist of walking a marathon, 26 miles, barefooted with a heavy backpack on to represent the children and workers that travel huge distances just to get to school or work. Many of them can not afford shoes.
Infant mortality rates in Malawi are very high, around 115 children of 1000 die under the age of 5 in Malawi, it is vital that we do what we can to change this. The children will take part in many difficult situations such as giving blood for the people who need it most.
The money will be helping to raise funds to embark on the expedition, buy charity goods and give a good sum of money to a variety of charities who are in desperate need of financial aid.
Please be generous and give what you can as it is all going towards a good cause. Every donation is put to use.
Thank you very much.
