Hello my name is Alfie Hale , im an 18 year old trans man and ive known i am transgender scince i was 11 years old . To begin the process of medically transitioning , I need to receive a letter from a Gender Therepist. However, the waiting list on the NHS is a 2 year wait . This for me was devistating and is for any other transgender individual that needs to start treatment . Therefore , I have made the inevitable desision to go through private treatment, and , after months of waiting , I finally have an appointment , however , it was way sooner than expected . I have a confirmed appointment on the 9th March 2019. This means everything to me , I truly need this to start living my life the way I should be.
