We have set up this Just Giving page in memory of Alfie David John Reilly, and in support of his incredible parents; Brendan and Megan.

Alfie was born on 29th March 2020, and sadly wasn’t meant to walk this earth. He was a beautiful baby and will always be a much loved part of our family. It is a credit to Bren & Meg as a couple how much of an outpouring of love has been shown to them in this heart-breaking time. Our entire Scottish & English family wanted to set up this page in order to support a charity who have been helping Bren & Meg throughout this entire experience; Small & Mighty Babies, run by Joanne & La La in Dubai.

During the entire hospital admission, La La kept in WhatsApp contact with Meg, night & day, offering constant advice & support. They provided a Small & Mighty Memory Box, so Bren & Meg could take home things like Alfie’s hospital band, & prints of his little hands & feet. They also raise funds for cuddle cots, which allow the couple to keep their baby in their room for a night.

We’d love in some way, however small, to pay something forward to other couples going through the devastation of losing a baby. Any money we can raise for Small & Mighty will enable more memory boxes to be made, more Cuddle Cots to be sent to hospitals, and more kindness to be offered to heartbroken mummy’s and daddy’s.
