I've raised £500 to help raise funds towards Alfie's future

My gorgeous god son Alfie Kinder is only 8 weeks old and has had a really difficult start. He's been in and out of hospital having multiple tests and scans. He now been diagnosed with Polymicrogyria (PMG), it's a condition characterized by abnormal development of the brain before birth. The surface of the brain normally has many ridges or folds. In children born with Polymicrogyria, the brain develops too many folds, and the folds are unusually small. This causes problems with functioning in the body much like how the effects of a stroke can affect the brain. On sunday 9th of June I take part in the great north swim, where I will swim a mile in lake windermere. I would like to raise money for Rainbow house child development centre where Alfie will spend his time developing. Rainbow house will also provide support for Alfie's parents throughout it all. Any sponsors will be greatly appreciated and will go toward such a beneficial environment for children like Alfie and others.
