My son Dave means the world to his brother and me, but we know his life is precious and without medication he could become seriously ill. Dave had to have emergency appendix operation a Italian hospital a few weeks ago, however unlike the UK's free National Health Service the Italy's health service is extremely expensive. Even though I'm a heart surgeon I haven't been able to pay for Dave's operation and the medication fees because I have been out of work since Dave become ill (almost 2 months). I'm a British citizen but had come to Italy to work, this move hasn't been successful and now I desperately need to fund raise enough money to pay for a particular medication which would prevent Dave from developing infections around the operated area. He has already had been in hospital because of bad bacteria building around the operation. All the examinations, admissions and medications cost money, money that I haven't got.
