Story
At Alfriston School, we are very close to beginning construction on our new performing arts building. Plans are being made for outfitting the rooms and space inside the building once it is completed.
To help raise funds for this equipment, staff will be walking the length of the Thames Path, a total of 184 miles, over the course of the 2019 summer term. They have set a target of completing 1000 staff miles between them. Pupils will have the chance to make their own contribution by taking part in a walk along the Thames over various distances. They have the target of walking 400 pupil miles.
With your help and contributions, our pupils will have access to tools and equipment that they will be able to use to express their creative ideas. This will build their confidence, self-esteem in a place where they can discover their strengths and talents in creative areas.
