Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktu

After identifying the need for a Childrens Islamic education centre in Dalton - Huddersfield, members of the local Muslim community successfully managed to purchase a building on Broad Lane to setup the Al Hira Educational Centre. Alhumdulillah, after several years of struggle in acquiring permission to use the premises for its intended purpose we were finally granted permission in 2016.

The first phase of building works was completed at the beginning of the year which allowed us to start teaching a small number of children. We currently have around 35 students.

By the grace of Allah, work has now started on the main hall, which will provide much larger classrooms and also allow us to take in more children. InshaAllah, we are also hoping that this building will be used a place for prayer in the very near future.

We urgently require funds to complete this work.

We urge all Muslims and non-muslims alike to donate whatever they can afford.
