I've raised £850 to help Alice make a change in Ghana

I'm raising money to travel over, to a village called Wawase-Twifo Aramakwamoano in Ghana, Africa to volunteer at an orphanage with Global Volunteering Projects for 4 weeks in August.
There are only 2 teachers there, who are held responsible for 55 children, those who are mostly 1-5 years old. Whilst there, I will be educating and supporting them.
My daily tasks will include; bathing and getting the children ready for school, putting the children down for naps, helping with mealtimes and teaching and sharing my english skills. I will also be helping with extracurricular activities such as music enrichment sessions e.g. guitar and sing alongs. Music can really help to boost spirits.
A big problem over in Ghana presents itself as HIV/AIDS. It has a huge impact on the economic state over there, so a lot of these children's parents send them to the orphanage to be educated, due to the unaffordable cost of education, that would be handed to them. I am more than aware and understand the culture shock I'm going to be facing. My experience there will be without doubt, extremely challenging, both emotionally and practically. But, I believe this is an experience that I will never forget and I really think it's about time that I gave something back.
The money raised for this trip will go directly towards my travel costs over there (flights and visas). For example, a return to flight to ghana will cost £885. I would like to especially say, that no matter how small the donation, I can assure you, that it will most definitely not go unnoticed.
Thank You for taking the time to read my story.
