Story
Thank you for taking your time to visit our JustGiving Page!
Holly and I have committed to travel to Sri Lanka THIS Summer to play our 'part' in stopping the decline of sea turtles. We will be partaking in a two week conservation program that will allow us to contribute hugely to important reasearch that will secure the future of these endangered, fascinating and enigmatic creatures.
A trip to Sri Lanka involves significant cost so any donation towards our journey would make a significant difference and be hugely appreciated.
Here is what you need to know:
For more than 100 million years sea turtles have covered vast distances across the world's ocean, playing a key role in the balance of marine habitats. However, our activities have tipped the scales against the survival of these old mariners.
Did you know that nearly all species of sea turtles are now endangered? They are all slaughtered for their eggs, meat, skin and shells. Not only this, they face vast habitat destruction and accidental capture in fishing gear.
Most devastatingly, in only twenty years time these loving creature may no longer be habitants in our seas. So, it is now time for you to play your part, and get involved in saving sea turtles with us!

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for supporting us through this amazing conservation program and contributing to a cause that we are so passionate about!
