I've raised £1200 to Get Annabelle a Trike!

On 8th August 2020, myself and my brother will be completing the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge. This consists of climbing the 3 highest peaks in Wales, which are Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan, all in less than 24 hours.
Of course this is going to be a massive challenge, but there is no greater motivator than the little girl we are doing this for! Let me tell you more... I am a one-to-one support at nursery for Annabelle, the most beautiful and happy little girl and we want to get her a trike that will improve her time outdoors and let her continue to enjoy her outdoor adventures in the best way possible.
Here is a word from Annabelle's parents, telling their story:
" Annabelle is a thrill seeker and loves to go fast! Especially on the back of her Daddies bike in her seat. With her family Annabelle spends many hours out on the bikes exploring the Herefordshire countryside accompanied by laughs and shouts all the way!
Annabelle is nearly four now and is growing up fast and also becoming more independent. However, her independence is limited by her condition, she has had Cerebral Palsy from birth. Her original prognosis was dire with very limited quality of life but boy does this little girl like to prove it wrong every day!
Annabelle has astounded not only her family but every professional and non-professional person she has met. She is an exceptionally social little girl who charms everyone she meets, we call it ‘the Annabelle effect’. Her physical abilities have come on leaps and bounds and can now crawl and sit independently, and walking with support. A lot of this is thanks to professional input from therapists and also to her exceptional care at Beech House Nursery, but mainly to her own absolute determination to do whatever she wants!
Therefore, to encourage her range of movement and her independence we want to keep this thrill-seeking little girls’ adventures going. Her bike seat is nearly too small for her now and we also think having an active role in her adventures will encourage her development and increase her enjoyment, so we are looking to raise money to get an awesome fully adapted trike for her. This is obviously not your average trike and therefore means not your average cost, which as a family is a bit of a stretch, and this is where Alice comes in.
Alice is Annabelle’s one to one at Beech House nursery and they have the most fun, encouraging and beautiful relationship. Alice volunteered to raise money for Annabelle and her family could not be more grateful to her. Annabelle has a very rich life at home and in nursery but getting out and about is her absolute favourite thing to do, so we wanted to provide a new and better way of doing this.
We couldn’t do what Alice is proposing to do and actually think she must be nuts but have every confidence that she is going to smash it!!! We would be very grateful to everyone who knows Alice, Annabelle or her family to donate whatever you can afford to help raise our target of £1200 to enable us to buy a trike for Annabelle."
Thank you so much for all your support!
*Should there be any change in date due to COVID-19, this event will be postponed until later in the year, however as it stands... 8th August here we come!*
