I've raised £500 to help a friend who is recently undergoing life threatening treatment for an aggressive form of lung cancer

I am raising funds along with several others for a friend of mine, Nikki, who has a very serious case of advanced lung cancer. She is a mother of twin toddlers, Molly's age. Last week, she commenced a life-threatening aggressive course of treatment. She has a very long way to go. The five-year survival rate from Nikki’s condition is typically 15-20%. However, she has her two very young boys to fight for. Her biggest fear is them not remembering her! Since she told me, I have not stopped thinking about her. I could not imagine being in the same situation with Molly. It really is truly heart-breaking!.
Along with some of Nikki's friends, I will be doing a 20 mile hike along the Northumberland coast on the 13th April.
The funds raised will go towards the family's household expenses
See more about Nikki’s story on the FaceBook page I’ve set up, where I will be posting updates on her progress and various fund raising events her friends and I are involved in. Please like, follow and share the page, even if you are unable to donate. Thank you.
