I'm planning on going for two weeks to help volunteer on community renovation projects in the Phang Nga province of southern Thailand.
The exact work will depend on the needs of the comunity at the time, but typically it may involve improving the infrastructure and learning environment at a local school or center, basic maintenance and renovation work, or painting and brightening up the space with murals or other artwork. I will be working with other volunteers from across the globe as a team to complete the task in hand.
This will be a brand new experience for me going out to a new country without my family or friends. However in order to make this achievable I am fundraising to help pay towards the costs and donation to the organisation who will be supporting me during my visit. I will be doing numerous things in order to raise the money but my main fundraiser will be walking up Snowdon on the 6th of May 2017. Any donations would be extremely appreciated as it will be helping me to help others who are less fortunate than myself.
