I'm SOOO excited to annouce that I shall be off to Nakuru in Kenya (North West of Nairobi) on the 14th October 2017 with Notts County Football in the Community, volunteering as a Sports Coach and a Teacher in the local schools and communities.

If you know me well enough you will appreciate that this oportunity is a double wammy for me; being able to influence the game onto children that aren't as nearly as fortunate as you and I, whilst wearing the shirt I grew up to love. It was simply an experience that I could not let me pass by.

Right up until my date of departure on the 14th I will be organising several fundraising events to help raise my funds for the trip from my flights, VISA and several vaccinations that I shall need. First up, I have registeresd for the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 28th May 2017. This was a perfect opening as I shall be running from the Etihad Stadium, my place of work mid-week, past Old Trafford where I work on Match Days and through the city that I now call my home. So throughout this whole journey I would like to challenge myself in every way possible and this is my first one I shall encounter.

I would greatly appreciate any donations to help me along with my journey right up until my date of departure on the 14th October 2017. It would mean the world to me!! And if you would like to donate any old football boots or old football shirts for me to take out to give to the children, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me!!!
