Bayasgalant Project:
Bayasgalant in Mongolian means happy. When I go to Mongolia in the summer of 2019 I hope to make the children at the Bayasgalant day care centre: who are aged 6-16 happy. This project targets children who come from some of the poorest homes from Mongolia's capital (Ulaanbaatar). Rather than being left home alone, these children are given a chance to have an education, receive healthy meals as well as having a facility that is safe to play in. Bayasgalant has become a sustainable and influential part of the community: that has a positive impact upon those involved. I hope to play a part of this impact. Children in these areas have little to look forward to, the Bayasgalant day centre allows these children to be children; care free and most importantly happy.
Many children have never stepped out of the city, when Outlook Expeditions takes these children on an expedition around their countries countryside it is a rare and exciting opportunity. This could be the only holiday these children experience. I am passionate that children should be allowed to experience a complete childhood. With your much appreciated and valuable donations, the vital work I will do with Outlook Expeditions out in Mongolia will enable more children to be offered this wonderful experience. Allowing children to be children.
