Story

I have taken the challenge to run 2 marathons in one year. I am running the 1st marathon on the 28/05/22 in Edinburgh and then the 2nd marathon around Loch Ness on the 01/10/23. As many know, mens mental health and suicide rates aren't talked about enough, yet the statics are so high. I am raising money to support a local charity that helps and understands what these people are going through. Men united offer so many services such as group meetings, one to one, workshops, 24/7 hour service and so much more. They rely on donations and fantastic volunteers that help out. If you can spare any money at all, you will be helping so many people. Men United is ever growing and has so many plans for the future, spreading out to various places, hubs that all can attend in an environment that's comfortable, but this wouldn't be possible without support.
As some of you may know I recently lost a loved one, he was a great believer in men talking more and had a great group of supportive friends, but not everyone has access to this, this is where a charity like this is so valuable, there is always support and someone that will listen to you.

If you're worried about a friend, loved one or anyone that you think is struggling please reach out to them, http://menunited.scot/

Thank you
