What is crowdfunding?

Story
I have always wanted to be a vet but unfortaunatly sidnt get the grades due to issues around the time of my exams. I have now completed a vet nursing degree and i am hoping to complete the accelerated vet med course at RVC following this. However due to this being my second degree i need to raise funds to pay for it
