Help Make a Difference in Child Future Life
Sponsor a VSA Kenya Student Secondary Education Sponsors will be the key part of the powerful support team behind our students success in education. Beyond the cost of a superior education, sponsorship provides for a child’s nutritional, medical and other basic material needs. We strive to have our sponsorship program be meaningful and long-term. Through the VSA Kenya sponsorship program, twice annually, you will receive a photo, letter, and update on your student’s progress in school. Sponsor a student: $500 per year, Across our two projects, we have 16 students awaiting sponsorship! We depend on your dedication to support this our newest cadre of precocious boys and girls. If you are interested in sponsorship, please email www.vsakenya.org Your donation will support will provide: $20 would buy a girl sanitary towels for a whole month $50 would feed a child from the street for a whole week $75 training for 11 young leaders in Gamba and Deepsea to become public health peer educators. $80 is enough to pay for a child to participate in a life skills workshop $90 is enough to buy a school uniform to enable a child to go to school $100 training for 20 adolescent girls in financial literacy. $200 would buy enough football shirts, shorts, and socks for a whole teams. $1710 soccer equipment for one youth sports tournament. ?$245 is all it takes to pay a child’s school fees for one year. $300 covers the cost of running an HIV/AIDS awareness session for 100 young people $500 education for three girls through four years of high school. $1000 is enough to hire training and match field for our teams. $1000 support for one VSA Kenyan staff member to attend a global development skills-oriented conference in another African country. $1000 is enough to fund VSA soccer teams participation in the federation league the whole season successfully. $1000 is enough to pay 6 volunteers allowance for a year. $1000 is enough to build two classrooms in the upcoming VSA nursery school in the village area of Gem in Siaya, Western part of Kenya.
