We are A Lil Something CIC which is a Hitchin based non-profit organisation, voluntarily run by local midwives and their families since 2019.

We support women and their families facing challenging circumstances when expecting a baby (and up to 18 months). We operate on a referral basis from midwives, healthcare professionals and local services such as family centres. We then provide the families with essential items so they can feel as happy and comfortable as possible for the imminent arrival of their baby.

We receive new or pre-loved baby equipment, clothes and other essential items from families in our local area, so we can pass them on to a family in need. We are always overwhelmed by the response we receive however, we are running out of funding to store all of your wonderful donations and we would love to help more families.

We are trying to raise funds to the sum of £1500 which covers our rent for our storage unit and the cost of essential items that we buy new such as mattresses for cots and Moses baskets, wipes, nappies etc.

With this money we can continue to help as many vulnerable women and their families through hard times and difficult circumstances.
