Story

Ali is a boy with autism, we live in a terraced house that has a small yard whith just enough to put the bins out. He is unable to go out due to no awareness of danger or strangers. He is often picked on if he walks out on the street by other children. This also affects his siblings immensly because they also cannot play out as he wants to follow them.

He really wants to be independent, he wants to know why he cant independently outside like other children do. A sensory garden would really help him, he would be able to play outside in a private area that would be his own, where he would be safe and be able to let off steam. This would change his life for the better.

we cannot move to the property as the garden is full of trees and plantation and in need of serious repair, it is not safe to play in at the moment for him unless fenses are built for safety, the area is cleaned up by removing the plantation and then made safe for him to run around. (He eats the plants). Then to create a sensory garden, all the sensory equipment has to be bought and fitted. Only then will he be able to have some freedom and play independently, and not be at home whilst everyone else is playing.

he feels isolated and alone and is struggling at the moment. we feel that this will help him so much but we also understand that this is a huge cost that we cannot afford, and this is why we are asking for any help. We know its a big ask and we probably will not reach the target but at least i can say to him that i have tried my best for him 🙂

at the moment i feel i am not able to offer him something which every child deserves..... the right to play outside without anyone picking on you, safely and to feel free.

any help would really really be appreciated towards this cause

thanks so much
