Myself Alisha Francis & My Auntie, Jayne Evans, have decided we are going to walk Pen Y Fan to help raise money for Teodora’s Angels in Serbia. Teodora’s Angels are a non-profit making Animal Rescue Centre who rescue dogs and all other animals from the streets and the killing centres of Serbia. Teodora’s Angels aim to help improve the health and welfare of these animals by protecting, rescuing and neutering them before trying to find their forever homes. My Auntie Jayne visited the Centre in Cacak, Serbia in November last year and donated medical supplies, blankets, food, collars and harnesses. She saw first-hand the difficulties they are experiencing on the ground and the dedication of Natasa and Toni who run the rescue. All money raised will benefit this rescue centre greatly as they depend upon donations to help all these poor animals. This walk is being undertaken especially in loving memory of our sponsored dog Aga (pictured above) who we dearly wished to adopt but he was unable to travel due to his medical condition and he lived at the rescue centre for his remaining years, loved and cared for by Natasa and Toni until he crossed Rainbow Bridge recently.
