Story

Carmarthen Breakthro is a respite and fun club for children with disabilities. It's run by a group of generous and hardworking people to give children the opportunity to socialise outside school, and away from their parents. Having a laugh with friends is something that most kids take for granted, but it's something which can be almost impossible when friends have complex needs that require different levels of support, and when social interaction and planning only happens with quite a bit of extra encouragement.

My son Seb started going when he was five years old - a whole decade ago - and it's been such an important part of his life ever since. He just loves Breakthro - the other children, the kind, caring staff and the huge range of excellent activities they do. Seb wants to do something special to say thank you, mark his tenth anniversary and help to ensure the club is able to carry on their valuable work, improving life for so many kids who just want to have some fun.
