Story
In September 2021 Connor was getting ready to return to Leeds to start his 2nd year studying Microbiology when he suffered from what turned out to be a catastrophic stroke. He was transfered to Addenbrooks intesive care fighting for his life. Now 18 months later and two major surgeries Connor has been transferred to a neuro rehab facility where he is now fighting for his independence. Left with considerable physical challenges to overcome and currently no voice we are raising funds to pay for therapy equipment such electrical hand trainers and possibly adaptations. Unfortunately we have just been told the NHS will not fund a powered wheelchair until he has a permanent address which will severely limit his ability to gain independence.
