Story

Our sheep come to us when they are no longer required, destined for meat or are looking for a retirement home. They are our friends and they stay with us for life however long that is. They often require extra care and attention for which medications can be very expensive. We have 20 at the moment whose ages vary from 5 months to 13 years old.

In over 25 years we have cared for many sheep all with individual characters like Goldie who came to us as a tiny lamb with an unrelated elderly ewe. She has not grown much but she still likes to think she is in charge! She can be seen below and is easily identified by her blue earrings!!

In addition to the weekly cost of £60 for hay, straw and mix, our current major expenses are a new roof for one building and fence posts and wire for new fencing which we need to do before the coming winter. Currently this is all funded on one living wage and pensions so any help would be very gratefully received.
