Borough of Kirklees Durability squad are a group of children and young adults with additional needs. They train up to 3 times a week so they can enter the Special Olympics. The Special Olympics are held every 4 years and the next games are to be held in Liverpool in 2021. Each of the swimmers need to raise £3.50 to cover the cost of staying in the athletes village as well as their entry fees.
