I've raised £35000 to build a school in Cambodia

Most children in developed countries take their education for granted–often cherishing the days they don't need to go.
In the developing world things are different–so many children there would LOVE the opportunity of going to school. They may not have much, but they have HOPE.
Hope that one day they will go to school.
Hope that through their education they will be able to create a better life for themselves, their families and their community.
Hope often results in unrealised dreams–just because they were born in a country where schools are not yet available.
Imagine how your life, or the lives of your children would be different today if you never went to school...
I believe that a good education is one of the critical keys to tackling many of the world's problems. Yet too many children around the world don't have access to it.
One of the things that struck me while doing my humanitarian work in Rwanda over the years is how eager young children in many countries are to learn and get an education. They know it's the best way to increase the likelihood of being able to break free from poverty and improve their lives.
I LOVE that Classroom of Hope are making huge inroads into this through their projects in Rwanda and Asia and have decided I'd like to raise funds to build a school in Cambodia.
For 60,000 Australian Dollars (approximately £35,000) they will build a child-friendly school in partnership with the local community and with agreement from local officials to invest in providing paid teachers. They also provide extra training to teachers to ensure the children in these remote areas receive a good quality education.
Please help me help a whole community of young people for generations to come by giving whatever you can by clicking on the 'DONATE' button above.
