What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

We feel passionately about the increasing problem of homelessness and feel compelled to take action in a small but meaningful way. A Little Something (A Community Interest Company) is an attempt to support the homeless and vulnerable members of our community by trading and using that income to finance outreach projects amongst the most vulnerable people in our community. Such as supporting other local projects, providing provisions, organising sport related activities to raise self esteem and generally giving support and guidance.

A Little Something is our trading arm and the name of our mobile food catering business and Big Ideas is the name of our outreach strand.

From a Little Something comes Big Ideas...

Hi. Those of you who follow us on facebook will know we had a trial run last weekend, which was great! Unfortunately we had a set back with the electrics and need some more funds to help solve this. We are also in the process of putting together our first 'Big Idea' which we hope will help provide items needed for those who will visit the homeless shelter in Walsall over this coming winter - if you can support in anyway please do. Thanks and please share.

We are making some leaps ahead - MOT passed and van wrap recently done we feel ever closer to launching our community interest company - however, still need funds to help us sort qualifications, permits and initial stock. If you are able to donate a small amount it will be spent on getting the van on the road, so we can support those in need in our community. Thanks

Hi!! Unfortunately we have had a bit of a set back as the van failed its MOT yesterday and we have to have some work done on it :-(. We were hoping to do a small trial run with some friends, but have had to postpone. Bit disappointed, but more determined than ever to make it work - if anyone feels able to donate we would really appreciate it. Thanks for all the support both emotionally and financially so far :-)
