Story

in April 2018, Alix was feeling unwell; with what was believed and treated as a kidney infection. Despite this Alix decided to go and dance at Blackpool with the rest of her dance troupe, where she collapsed.

Alix then began having seizures at home and was admitted into hospital 2 days later. After a long week and a half in hospital they diagnosed Alix with Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder. She went on to have more tests, and also got diagnosed with Functional Neurolgical Disorder.

These two conditions have fully changed not only Alix’s life but everyone arround her. She can no longer walk, with out the use of cructhes and has to leave the house in a wheelchair. She is constantly in imense pain which is horrible for her family to witness.

As they’re not getting anywhere with hospitals and doctors in order for Alix to be able to walk again properly. We want to send her to intensive physio that speicalises in functional conditions and as quickly as possible, every day her legs are getting weaker and weaker, and no doctors are helping or even trying to help. Alix used to dance 3 times a week, along with going to the gym almost everyday, and was never sat down. So her now not being able to even walk is heartbreaking for her.
