I've raised £600 to bring supplies for Calais refugees

Allegra, Nick and Ophelia will be volunteering in the Calais area over Christmas and new year with Help Refugees, a refugee charity with minimal overheads and maximum impact. We need £€£€ so that we can bring as many much-needed items like clothes, toiletries, sleeping bags, blankets, etc. with us as possible.
After the demolition of the Calais 'jungle' and departure of most of the media, the situation has deteriorated for those still stuck there and the newly arrived. There are still around 1,500 refugees - including 200 unaccompanied children - sleeping rough in the forests in northern France, and winter is a particularly hard time. The cold weather means that people are in desperate need of warm clothes, blankets, and hot meals.
Help us out by donating what you can, and we will do a mass shop en route to pick up as much as we can fit in the car. Any amount helps, as a lot of the items on the most needed list only cost a few pounds. If you have any of the items on the most needed list that you would like to donate, please let us know and we can take them with us. And if you're worried about getting a lump of coal in your stocking come Christmas morn, think of all the last minute good list points you'll be accruing - it's a win-win!!
