    Story

Toby our standard poodle of 5 years, was taken in to a vets in May 2017 as he had stopped eating,

They did a blood test and wife was told that he was suffering from anemia but ok.

Fast forward a few months and a different vet says ”its got bigger” my wife says “whats got bigger”, to which my she was told the tumour.

Now my wife wasnt told about this tumour. We sadly euthanised him in august and then got his records, in there it says in the differential diagnosis ”tumour cachaxia”. So from May to August 2017 they suspected and did nothing

My wife was NOT told this and Toby was allowed to suffer. In his records it says financial issues, even though we never said anything about any issue.

We owed them nothing and paid over £800 for our other animals (Including Toby) I got the print-offs of the other records and no where is financial issues stated.. only in Tobys.

Now he was ill in Jan 2017 but what it was is not in the records, (we were told that maybe he had eaten something) I believe that a cover-up is happening.

The vet that treated him was was only registered for 4 months and has now moved 150 miles away from our area.

I raised a RCVS complaint I got through to level 2 (arguable complaint) but then they shut it down.

They said not enough independant evidence, funny because ours wasnt mentioned in the letter, neither was the meeting where my wife asked why she wasnt told About the differential diagnosis or the tumour.

Two people say that she asked but the main vet doesnt even bother acknowlefging this in his write-up or statement

I have lodged an appeal and am still waiting after 3 months for the answer

I handed them to the RCVS but they chose to protect the vets rather than doing what was right (I have loads of proof to support my argument)

Really Im looking for the RSPCA or a solicitor that would be willing to take this on, if you look at my FB page (Allen Holmes) you will see Tobys story. (At the moment my profile pic is a vid of columbo)

I have them, I just cant afford to go to court
