I've raised £17500 to pay for a life-saving treatment in India for a dear family member in Mauritius who has no access to specialist healthcare

We have an image of Mauritius as being a tropical carefree paradise. Beautiful beaches and luxury hotels are images that we associate with the island.
For the people that live there however, life can be tough. Wages are low and public services are limited. Public Benefits are almost non-existent and healthcare is poor. If you suffer a major illness, you fear the worse. I've lost many relatives suddenly at a very a young age, largely due to preventative illness.
One of my dearest family members, Siva Veerasamy is very ill. After feeling unwell for some weeks, he was diagnosed with a growth on a major organ. The initial operation was bodged and he now needs a further life-saving operation in India. Your donations will pay for this procedure which will then allow him to further treatment.
