We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for our own charity Alley Cats Rescue. We set it up to help cats and kittens in our local area that have been abandoned, or who can no longer be cared for by their current owners and need to be re homed. We also take in stray and feral kittens to rehabilitate and socialize them in order that they can be placed into a domestic environment giving them that chance of a fire to sleep by. Feral adult cats are often moved by us and given a chance to live somewhere more secure or at the very least catch and neuter them to stop the population growing any further, halting fighting for territory, potential spread of diseases and litters of unwanted/uncared for kittens who often die.
Every cat that comes to us requires vet veterinary treatment some of which can prove very extensive and costly. This is why we have decided to undertake this challenge, so we can increase our funds so we never have to turn an animal away x
