I've raised £4000 to Raise awareness for Heart Disease whilst finishing the Great Manchester Run for our Dad.

It’s with deep sadness our Dad Alan Doyle lost his life whilst running in this weekends Great Manchester Run. This took place near our beloved Old Trafford where he has been a season ticket holder over 34 years. We can take some comfort in this being his favourite place in the world. His death was ultimately caused by an undiscovered heart disease.
Dad loved life, dancing, his family, going out with friends, making people laugh. Any room he walked into he would light it up. And always has been everyone’s best mate. All of the family are still in massive shock to loose such an amazing man and a day wont pass by where we aren‘t talking about him and his mischievous ways.
Keep an eye out for us at next years Manchester Run where we will be finishing the race for our Dad. We will be wearing Hi Vis yellow just as he was and raising money for and creating awareness of Heart Disease, and other charities close to our Dad and our family’s hearts: The British Heart Foundation, Stroke Association, Cancer Research and Alzheimer’s Society.
Any donations would be greatfully accepted however small to fund a place to meet after the event and for the chosen charities.
