In October 2020, as a direct response to the negative impact on mental health and decimation of live theatre brought about by the devastating effect of COVID-19 across the UK and rest of the world, Alliance Community Theatre embarked on a ground breaking new project to create a virtual, online, interactive pantomime, open and available for anyone to be in or watch. What started out as a small creative idea grew into an amazingly international, cross-continent community theatre event!

It is the only online pantomime of its kind, where anyone, (regardless of age, ability or experience,) was able join in and therefore become a part of British pantomime history. Over 300 participants across four continents, volunteered and were only sent their specific lines from an original script, which they filmed themselves delivering, before sending back to us. We then edited all of their different performances together to create one truly spectacular production of Cinderella, which anybody can watch and enjoy this Christmas!
