Story
My wife Stacey and myself are both teaching assistants at Tweendykes in Hull and have decided to walk 500 miles from France and into Spain during the six weeks summer holidays to raise funds for the school. The students at Tweendykes will definitely benefit from a sensory garden. This would be an area that can stimulate and help make progress in their educational needs , giving them the chance to learn new things about themselves and showing others how to build on this. The sixth form students who are near to leaving and are getting prepared for life after school, benefit from visits out and taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh awards. This gives them greater independent living skills and a platform for them to build on towards an adult life. Here's a link to our page on Facebook for all those who wish to follow us on our Journey.
