Story

Hi all,

My name is Craig Ward, I am 41, have two awesome boys and live in Worcester and I have recently been gifted the opportunity of taking care of a local allotment. As part of making this project great, I want to get local community groups involved in "Dig Days", hoping to help support those in the community to get out, meet new people and help with their Mental Health. Any crops grown from these digs days I would like to donate and help support the local food banks.

As part of the project, I would also like to help show people that building a relatively cheap and simple Solar Power setup can help to lower costs at home and provide a backup if these "Rolling Blackouts" do happen over the coming months. I will create YouTube tutorials and share these via Community First and the Hereford and Worcestershire Wellbeing & Recovery college.

Please help me to get this project off the ground as I need to hire a rotovator, buy some tools and wood, seeds, a portable flushable toilet for guests at community group digs and the bits and pieces for the solar kit.

Please get in touch if you are part of a community group in Worcester that would like to lend a hand, have any questions or can offer me some much needed help or guidance.

Craig

N.B I would happily take donations of second hand tools, slabs, etc.
