We have had estimates for up to £80,000 to resurface both car parks and the paths. We have now resurfaced our main church car park but we still have our churchyard paths and Shirley Hall car park to do. We may attract more grants and legacies in the coming years so we are aiming to raise £20,000 through local fundraising for the time being. This is a huge amount of money but good quality tarmacking is extremely expensive these days and we have a large number of paths in the churchyard.
