Story
Assalamualaykum everyone,
We are reaching out to you with an urgent plea for support. This charity, established by a dedicated individual, has been transforming lives by teaching the Quran to those who are visually impaired and have learning difficulties. For many years, this passionate advocate has learned Braille to ensure that these individuals can read and understand the Quran, fulfilling a vital need in our community.
Al Qalam Vision Institute in the U.K. stands as a beacon of hope for over 200 Muslims in the North West of England who face barriers to Islamic learning due to visual impairment. This unique institute is committed to making Islam accessible and creating equal opportunities for all members of our community.
Today, we are launching this fundraising page with a target of £15,000 to pay off loans (Qarz Hasanah) from our generous donors. We invite you to be part of this inspiring project and help us fulfill our collective obligation (fardh al-kifayh) as a community.
Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most.
