Story
ENTRY TO THE ALRESFORD ROTARY CHRISTMAS SONG AND CAROL CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.
However, you can still donate to help the less fortunate in the Alresford community during the present Covid-19 epidemic.

Don’t you miss those Christmas Song and Carol concerts cancelled due to COVID-19 ? We at Alresford Rotary want to bring Festive Cheer by organising our very own local ‘Christmas Song and Carol Singing with a difference’. This will be our Alresford ‘Christmas Got Talent’ contest to find the best Alresford Christmas Song and Carol Singers. All you need to do, safely, in the comfort of your own home, alone or with a family member is:
1. Record a voice recording or video on your phone of a (single) Christmas Song or Carol of your choosing (remember no household mixing and keep to COVID guidelines). Maximum recommended 3 minutes.
2.
To enter the competition email your details to rotary.alresford.giving@gmail.com Please include your name and postcode in your email. We look forward to receiving your entry.
You will be asked to upload your sound recording or video. As the file will be huge you will need to do this by WeTransfer , or another file transfer tool of your choice. (to find WeTransfer.com enter it into your browser and it should come up- or click here). The use the WeTransfer service is free after signing up.
There is no entry fee. We suggest giving a donation (minimum £5) through our Just Giving site: Just Giving. All proceeds go to local Rotary charities.
If you have any trouble uploading send us an email at rotary.alresford.giving@gmail.com and we will try to help.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS 5th JANUARY 2021

4. A panel of judges will watch all submitted videos and allocate prizes based for children and adults.
We will be announcing the winners on the end of January. If the winners agree we will also be sharing the videos of our most talented Alresford Community. Whether you win or not we hope you have fun and through your donation you will contribute to making it a better New Year for those less fortunate.

This event is brought to you by Alresford Rotary, a charity organization that supports our local Community as well as International good causes such as Polio Eradication and Micro Financing small businesses in the developing world. To find out more get in touch at: www.alresfordrotary.co.uk
