It's is nearly 15 years since Alsager Round Table ran our "buy a bulb" campaign & first purchased the Christmas Lights that adorn the town center shops each year & attract thousands of people to the annual switch on event in late November.

The lights are now getting old & cost more & more to maintain each year. It is therefore time to replace them & we would like to ask you for your help in making that happen.

Light displays for this kind of application are not cheap & we are ideally looking to raise a sum of £25,000 to fund a complete replacement of the feature lights in time for this year's display if we can. In the unlikely event that we raise more than this sum, we would close the fundraising & place any surplus money into our usual Community Charity account which we use to support local people & groups within Alsager & it's surrounding area.

In addition to this crowdfunding initiative, we are also looking at hosting a one off event to help specifically with fundraising for this project in the summer - more details about that will be revealed soon!
