Myself Alun from Bolton at Home and Dan from Cycle2Health are looking to raise £800 to fund cycle safety checks and repairs for our communities around the town of Bolton. We aim to reach as many families as possible to ensure cycles are safe and, where necessary, repaired so our children are safe on the roads or during play. Over 95% of the cycles repaired are unsafe, often without brakes, with a lack of knowledge or finances, making it difficult to have the work completed. We want to remove this barrier to safe play and exercise through community engagement and by providing a qualified mechanic and resources accessible to all.
