This prominent 200 year old pub in the middle of Collingham has been closed for 2 years. A public meeting attended by over 200 local residents agreed to save it and reopen it as a pub with a purpose built kitchen to prepare and serve fresh local produce. A steering committe has been formed to register a Community Business Scheme (CBS) and offer shares. The minimum shareholding is £250 and maximum £20000.

Planning approval has been granted and a respected local contractor will carry out the building work at cost. The plans include a bar, 40 cover restaurant, beer garden, choldrens play area and function room.

We are very close to our target and need another £30000. The shares will be eligible for tax releif.
