I've raised £140 to Celebrate Alx's 40th Birthday, paying it forward to Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary in Malta ♡♡♡

Yesterday, while on holiday in Malta, we visited Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary. The Ark is currently home to around 90 hounds of all shapes, sizes, ages and backgrounds. All have one thing in common - they're now SAFE from abuse, neglect and destruction, thanks to the lifeline they've been offered by Noah's Ark.
We handed out biscuits, went for walkies, and I gave each dog, in turn, my love and attention. Their eyes told me they appreciated it. Upon leaving, my heart told me to do more for them, if I could.
I can volunteer for my local rescues on a regular basis, but I don't have the option to volunteer in the same capacity for these guys. But, it just so happens that ☆ IT'S MY 40th BIRTHDAY ☆ so, now is the perfect time to host a little fundraising party for them all! Yay!
It would make me super happy, and mean the world to these hounds, if you can spare just a COUPLE OF QUID. Much less than you'd have spent buying me a birthday drink or card. (A tonne less than those free tickets/albums/backing vocals etc that I may have graced you with at some point over the last few decades too!)
The sanctuary's only means of funding is from donations, and the kind souls who run it require a constant stream of income. A few euros will cover one dog's costs for one day. They are all depending on the kindness of strangers.
I honestly want for nothing. Except, perhaps, for some humans to be kinder to animals. So, if you can, please donate a small sum to Noah's Ark and then, whether we reach my target or not, I'll know that I've made my 40th birthday count for something worthwhile.
Jack and his buddies touched my heart DEEPLY, today. Your donation would be the best 40th birthday present you could give to me, to pay forward to them.
Thank you
♡ Me x
P.s. if you can't donate, please visit their page or share my appeal.
