    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

I have an invitation to journey to Ghana to meet with local Christian Aid community partners. The money I raise will enable me to travel and witness partnership working in rural and urban communities. By listening directly to local people, I hope to have a better understanding of some of the every day challenges faced by teachers, school children and unemployed young people. The sharing of knowledge and experiences in this way, will highlight just how interlinked we all are in social and environmental matters - we are all global neighbours! What I see and learn from the people I meet and speak with, will be brought back to the UK. I will use this knowledge in longer term partnership work by helping to create new learning resources for schools and churches. This experience will be invaluable when speaking up for social justice, dignity and equality.
