Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him, we shall return

إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

On 19/05/25, our beloved mother Amira Ahmed Eltayeb tragically passed away in a car accident while making a 16 hour journey across Sudan to reach the nearest functioning airport to return back to the UK. She was forced to take this difficult road due to the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis devastating our homeland.

She travelled to Sudan to support and care for her siblings and her elderly mother, who has been living with a dislocated hip since the start of the war. Despite the danger and instability, she went without hesitation, because that’s who she is: always putting others first, always showing up when her loved ones needed her most.

She was on her way back home earlier than planned, hurrying to be with her children and to support her sister and close friend, who had just lost her daughter in a sudden and devastating tragedy. Rahma, may Allah have mercy on her and grant her the highest rank in Jannah, was someone our mother loved as her own.

Our mother was a generous, loving, supportive, selfless, and deeply God-fearing woman. Her smile lit up every room, and her unwavering positivity touched everyone she met. She was a source of strength, comfort and light not just to us but to so many. She spent her life giving to others and now, we hope to honor her by continuing that legacy.

We are raising funds for Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) projects in her name, such as building water wells in much needed areas, building mosques, or funding education or medical aid, so that her beautiful soul may continue to earn reward even in the hereafter.

Please consider donating, sharing, and making dua for her. May every drop of water, every lesson learned, and every life touched through this effort be a source of eternal light for her grave and a source of ease in her eternal journey. Ameen.

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” – Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

May Allah accept this as a means of sadaqah jariyah, and a source of mercy and elevation for her soul Ameen.

في يوم 19/05/2025، توفيت والدتنا الحبيبة أميرة أحمد الطيب في حادث سير أثناء رحلة شاقة استمرت 16 ساعة عبر السودان للوصول إلى أقرب مطار يعمل من أجل العودة إلى المملكة المتحدة. اضطرت إلى سلوك هذا الطريق الصعب بسبب الحرب المستمرة والأزمة الإنسانية التي تعصف بوطننا الحبيب.

سافرت والدتنا إلى السودان لدعم ورعاية إخوتها ووالدتها المسنّة، التي تعاني من خلع في مفصل الورك منذ بداية الحرب. ورغم الخطر وعدم الاستقرار، لم تتردد لحظة، لأنها كانت دائمًا هكذا: تضع الآخرين قبل نفسها، وتكون دائمًا حاضرة عندما يحتاجها من تحبهم.

كانت في طريقها للعودة إلى منزلها قبل الموعد المخطط له، مسرعة لتكون بجانب أبنائها، ولتواسي شقيقتها وصديقتها المقربة، اللتين فقدتا ابنتهما الحبيبة في مصيبة مفاجئة ومؤلمة. رحمة، رحمها الله ونسأل الله أن يرحمها ويرفع درجتها في الجنة، كانت عزيزة جدًا على والدتنا، وقد أحبتها كأنها ابنتها.

كانت والدتنا امرأة كريمة، محبة، داعمة، متفانية، ومتقربة إلى الله بصدق. كانت ابتسامتها تنير كل مكان تدخل إليه، وكانت إيجابيتها الثابتة تلمس كل من عرفها. كانت مصدر قوة، وراحة، ونور، ليس لنا فقط، بل لكثيرين من حولها. قضت حياتها في العطاء للآخرين، ونسعى الآن لتكريمها من خلال مواصلة هذا العطاء باسمها.

نقوم بجمع التبرعات لمشاريع صدقة جارية باسمها، مثل حفر آبار المياه في المناطق المحتاجة، بناء المساجد، أو دعم التعليم والمساعدات الطبية، حتى تستمر روحها الجميلة في نيل الأجر والثواب حتى بعد وفاتها.

نرجو منكم التبرع، والمشاركة، والدعاء لها. لعل كل قطرة ماء، وكل علم يُنتفع به، وكل حياة تتأثر بهذا العمل، تكون نورًا في قبرها، وتيسيرًا لطريقها في الآخرة. آمين.

قال رسول الله ﷺ:

“إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية، أو علم يُنتفع به، أو ولد صالح يدعو له.”

نسأل الله أن يتقبل هذا العمل كصدقة جارية لها، وأن يجعله سببًا في رحمته ورفعة درجتها. آمين.
