Story
The big news in the press is that Major League Baseball (LondonSeries) is coming to London in 2019, but the real news is that baseball is already here and being played all over Great Britain.
Our national team baseball programme represents the pinnacle of the sport in this country. Great Britain Baseball’s Mission is to Inspire, Develop and Perform (GB Way).
This summer with the return of our U12 national team, the British Baseball Federation will be sending four age groups to the European National Team Tournaments:
U12 at Budapest, Hungary (30th June to 6th)

U15 at Antwerp, Belgium (16th to 22nd July)

U18 at Grosseto, Italy (9th to 15th July) https://www.britishbaseballfederation.com/gb-baseball-u18
U23 at Bratislava, Slovakia (6th to 12th July) https://www.britishbaseballfederation.com/gb-baseball-u23
Hitting a baseball is said to be one of the biggest challenges in sport, but raising money to ensure we can send the best talent of athletes, in consideration of the costs and logistics involved, is at least as challenging.
The British Baseball Federation (BBF), its national team programme (GB Baseball) and its athletes receive no public funding, so seeking private donations is a must to finance our athletes to compete against Europe’s best. The BBF has recently begun a programme to raise funds for this year's national baseball teams to compete this summer.
As part of the mentioned fundraising programme, please help us to achieve our goal to raise £25,000, which allows defraying the costs for our national teams taking on the best that Europe has to offer, with the long-term aim of competing at the Olympic Games in 2020.
On behalf of the BBF we guarantee all money donated will go towards our national baseball teams equipment, travel costs and training. We need your help to ensure our very best players are at the plate this summer.
Note: By way of introduction, my name is Amanda Kettle, I am the treasurer for the British Baseball Federation (the National Governing Body of Baseball). I have been assigned by the BBF to start this funding page, with all funds received going towards GB Baseball.
