Story
At 52 years of age, and only 4 years after returning to a sport I had competed in, at the Barcelona Olympics 1992. I have qualified for my first World Veterans Championships in the sport of fencing!
Having recently come 8th in the European Veterans Championships in Cognac France and won the British championships for my category, I am hoping for further success at the Veteran World Championships in Cairo in October 2019.
After paying for my recent Cognac trip and updating my fencing equipment for international competition, it would be great to have some help for Cairo, which is self funded. Even if it could just buy me the GB team tracksuit!
