As most of you know since little Thomas was born, things have always been on a different path. Now he is older we are quite sure he is Autistic. Thomas masks so well at school that getting enough evidence together for the long drawn out process for a NHS referral and diagnosis means it's probably going to take a good few years untill we get a OT assessment to help us understand how he sees the world.
We have decided that we want to go private and get the OT assessment done a little quicker so we can find ways to help him cope, and for his little body to not get so stressed in situations most of us find pretty simple.
We do know some are in a much more strained situation than ourselves but we are just doing this for our boy.
