Story
Monday 16th April.... an agonising call from overseas to say my mum was critically ill after being found collapsed at home unconscious. We waited on tender hooks for the next call over an hour later, confirming she had in fact had an aneurism and had a very big bleed on the brain. It was now a wait to see what the neurologist would do next?
My mum was taken into theatre around 8:30pm last night in an attempt to relieve the pressure on her brain and attempt to investigate the damage.
At midnight lastnight, my Mum‘s husband called to say that the surgery was a success. The biggest relief of my entire life. so many questions lie ahead, will she survive? and how will she recover? My heart breaks because i can not be wth my mum right now but all i can do is pray and ask you all to do the same. 🙏🏻
We have another hugh concern! Paying for her care and the bill is going to be substantial. This is where i rely on my friends, family and extended community to support us and join together to help raise much needed money to help pay for my Mums hospital treatment.
We dont know how lucky we are having an NHS.
